Falling in love.

Does his smile make your chest feel warm and his laughter fuzzy ?

Does he know when you get your favourite ice cream, you prefer eating it from the box itself rather than scooping it out ?

Does he know you prefer cheap wine and dancing in your underwear rather than going out to expensive restaurants ?

I hope, I really do hope that you're both enjoying your life to your heart's content. Being drunk and dancing around as if no one is watching you.

Does he brush his fingers gently through your hair and kiss your forehead so lightly. Does he tell you how much he loves you and most of all, can you believe him ?

Can you believe it as soon as you wake up and he kisses your bare face ? Can you be vulnerable and cry in front of him ?

Does he hold you in his arms as if you're the most precious of all ? If you've found it, I hope you can endure it.

I hope you can continue to trust him in the rainy season when nostalgia hits. When you're staring outside the window with sad eyes and missing that one friend you had in high school.

But, does he also remember you talking about how you'd rather prefer a long drive in the rain, rather than going to a coffee shop ? 

When he comes home from work and you don't hop into his arms, does he know you had a rough day ?

When he asks for dinner and you refuse to say anything, does he order pizza ? 

Does he offer snuggles all throughout the night because he knows that's what you need the most.

His arms holding onto you securely.

Does he kiss you good morning ? good night ? or simply because he can ?

But, do you know why he stays up 30 minutes extra in bed when his alarm goes off ? I hope you do because he knows how much you despise waking up. He knows, you're not a morning person at all.

Do you know he likes his coffee the way you made it for him when you first met ? 

Can you tell when he prefers tea over coffee ? Or how much he prefers tea but drinks coffee for you ?

I could never tell it with the person I loved. But if you can, you're a better lover than I could ever become.

Have you jumped on his back, kissed the heck out of him ? Driven him to tears ? But if you have, you're far better at the thing called "love" than me.

Do you remember the first time you said, "I love you," to each other and did you ever come to discover his fear of heights ? I hope with my entire being that you did because despite his fear of heights, he fell for you and fell hard.

Did you look up at him and smile the same way he did when he looked down on your face ?

Did you wrap your arms around his neck ? 

Did he wrap his arms around your waist the same moment while he pulled you closer ?

Now tell me darling, is he the one ?
